What is the background behind the UCL MA Philosophy EA course?

This is a question post.

The Philosophy MA at UCL appears to have had an optional Philosophical Foundations of Effective Altruism module. However, looking at the module list for 2020/2021 it looks like it might have been scrapped.

Does anyone know the background behind this course?:

More generally, is it worth trying to spread EA in this way? I.e. by convincing Philosophy departments at universities to include it as an option?

The same is the case with the effective altruism course at the LSE titled Effective Philanthropy: Ethics and Evidence. The reason for that was that the teacher Luc Bovens moved to work for another institution. I don't know about UCL.
