Are there English-speaking meetups in Southeast Germany?

This is a question post.

I'll be in Stuttgart, Germany for a few months this summer for work. It's about equidistant from Frankfurt, Munich, and Zurich. I see in the community map that there are quite a lot of EA groups in the area. Do any of these cities have regular meetups where English is spoken, at least in part?

About me -- I run a software startup, which primarily sells to large military headquarters in NATO countries. My main professional interests are x-risk, decision theory, and geopolitics. Personal interests in powerlifting, crossfit, and distance hiking

We have a chapter in Tübingen: https://eatuebingen.wordpress.com/

We speak English when one or more person has a preference for it which is most of the time.

Many thanks! That's really close to where I'll be

I should be arriving in Germany on July 6th. Very much looking forward to getting involved with the community

The German-speaking EA meetups I know are all very happy to switch to English whenever non-German-speakers are present. Can't imagine it would be a problem anywhere in the German-speaking world!

Hi, please feel free to reach out to effectivealtruismstuttgart@gmail.com in order to have some 1:1s and be invited to meetups in Stuttgart. I am one of the coorganizers there (although I was living abroad for the last couple of months and will only be returning in July).

Cheers, Constantin
