Any interest in bacteriophages?

Hello!

I have an EA-aligned associate who is well into his career that is starting a substantial bacteriophage project. He is interested in both bacteriophages as an early pandemic warning system and as a solution to antibiotic resistance.

 So is there any action in the EA community along this topic? Anybody? Bueller?
